Falling asleep easily
Sleep is extremely important for our health. It helps our bodies rest and recover like eating well and doing exercise. When we do not sleep enough, we often feel tired and unhappy. Simple activities such as hanging out with friends, playing games, or watching TV may no longer be enjoyable if we feel sleepy.
People at different ages need different amounts of sleep. Young children usually sleep for a long time each day, often much more than adults. Teenagers generally need about eight to ten hours of sleep each night, while older adults usually need fewer hours. However, even people who are the same age may not need the same amount of sleep because everyone’s body is different.
Many children say they feel sleepy during the day, which shows that they may not be getting enough rest at night. So what can we do to fall asleep more easily? One helpful way is to write down your worries before bedtime so your mind feels calmer. It is also important to keep your bedroom quiet, dark, and at a comfortable temperature. Reading a book can help you relax, but you should avoid sugary drinks and using your phone before sleeping. Most importantly, playing computer games late at night is something you should try not to do.
